1969 Evergreen Place

If you ever saw the show "The Oblongs" you might recognize the Debbies.  In case you haven't seen it,  the Debbies are popular, mean girls, who make life hellish for pretty much everyone else.  I  didn't realize that the girls on the left bore a striking resemblance to the Debbies until Doug pointed it out to me.

Something Debbie Comes This Way...

FAIL.

I'm calling it a fail.
I started this project a couple of weeks ago as something to do to keep my hands from becoming the devil's playthings. A little bit of scenic fluff, a nice mountain a few birds and some gold fish. But it's all gone to rubbish. The sky isn't working out the birds won't fly correctly, the fish won't do anything, so like the Lorax I'm sending them off. I like the waves move and will file them use later.

So what next!?!?!
I've had the suggestion of a robot unicorn, but that will have to wait. Right now I think I'm going to just make images I like rather worry about a story.

Even with an extra day....

....I still didn't get a project done in February.  But I did get an idea for the next project, which I got started on.  It's not a "full" project, it's not a story, it's just a chance to make some images that would be cool. You know some mountains, some fish, a few really cool waves. So far I've just got the mountain...

This project was the suggestion of Bri Dotson and her blog beerfordessert.com . The monster's head is a sack of hops, the cake is a rum rasin from the blog, the monster's eyes are based on the Solar Trans Amp label and the mooostache is just because Bri likes mooostaches. 

Not sure what February's project is going to be. I've got a few ideas for short projects and great idea for a big project, (it's about bears in suits HA!).  J vs S, a friend's electronica band, has ask about doing some pictures for them. So that could be cool.

Done.

So just a few months off my November 6th deadline, but nonetheless done.  The monsters are over and put to bed, with a nice little bedtime story.  They are over to the right, if you would like to check out the final product.

The down side is that now I have two weeks to make my next project in order to meet my one project a month deadline. Any suggestions?

So...yeah about that two months.....

So I'd like to say I've been really busy because of the holiday season, but that's not really true. Sure works been a little busier than normal but really I've just been sleepy.

I have started on my Monster project again. I've recorded voice over, edited it and cut in and now I'm going to redo it. Ehhh.....it just sounded too NPRish. And I've started to gather sound effects, so it should come together pretty quickly.

On a related note I'm going to try to do a project a month.At least something I mean how hard can it be....?
